Dosukoi Sakaba is breaking its recent Izakaya habit of concreting consumer target group in Japan. Every night Japanese men and women from various industries and life experiences at wide age group are occupying the place. There is increasing of job bachelors due to Japanese firm cost-cutting and many of individual young adults who suffered from Job shortage in Japan are moving into next bravery step in Singapore. Like any other expats, they will start missing their own food culture and speaking Japanese to friends sooner or later.

At Dosukoi Sakaba, only Japanese staff will be serving customers and naturally joins its local conversation. It is one of their key secret service methods which well-done service is delivered to customer mind unconsciously. Although Singapore F&B owners are putting effort by letting staff joins seminars, service skill competition organized by government and to have well thought company service visions, It is still a major challenge for local and foreign service staffs to meet Japanese standard. Dosukoi Sakaba practices family-like service at its appropriate distance and service manner which could be too close from regular point of view but possibly done here which makes customer fantasize like you are in your neighborhood casual bar with all your close neighbors in the house. This addictive Dosukoi culture has grabbed Japanese customers heart to repeatedly come back for new meet ups. Unexpected friendship and love are growing in between. Dosukoi has its attractive record of 3 couples met at this place ended up marrying! Unlike Japan where there are many matching events for new couplings, in Singapore you can only join as many Japanese parties to meet your future partner. S$50-S$60 per person dinner with unexpected networking with all-time favorite Curry Udon with few glasses of Shochu is a worth awhile.

Director, Mr. Koji Kamidate immigrated to Singapore in 2006 and worked for Japanese Electricity Company. While then, he was actively organizing Japanese gatherings and he had over 400 members for a Japanese drinking group mixi (Japanese social media) community "LEIS". He had taken over Dosukoi Sakaba from Chitose Pte Ltd in January 2010 to make his and everyone's cozy pre-owned dining table. Taisho acts as middleman to let strangers seating at counters to chat like a family, making the counter as their comfortable gathering space of "Living Room".
This concept works not only at retail level but in supplying. The bar located at Cappage plaza where many of Japanese targeted bars, restaurants and night clubs are. The location chosen was perfect for having information shared as well as supplier network for quality Japanese food and Shochu drinks which acts importantly in Izakaya style restaurant. Dosukoi is also known from Shochu lovers that they are the only store carries top 3 hardly-found Shochu label of Moriizo, Murao and Mao found at top of the counter shelf. They only provide Japanese beer brands and it is served at competitive price of S$6 (excluding service charge) per draft glass as other Singapore bars and clubs would easily charge S$20 per glass for local beer brands.
Only Dosukoi carries this famous 3 brands
