"Yokohama October Fest" was held at the shopping mall in Yokohama till October 14. Persons joined it are very excited. Beer is 1500 to 3000 yen and additionally the charge of the glass custody is 1000 yen. It is very expensive. Nevertheless, on a stage, the German folk song was performed live. Participants were singing and dancing over beer glass. This event continues 11 times.
I also went to October Fest held at Toyosu in September and at Odaiba in October. It was rising to the extent unusually. The large chorus of the famous song of toast, "Ein Prosit Ein Prosit", was groaned at the venue. I am surprised that Japanese people has changed to become so cheerful.
The boom of the Irish pub started around in 2005. Japanese people also can enjoy standing over Guinness beer. And the popularity of beer pub offering 20 to 30 sorts of Japanese microbrewed beer by barrel came to be conspicuous from around 2010. Although there is still little number of outlets, it is increasing gradually.
There are many brands with week character of taste among Japanese domestic beer. However, Japanese people has begun enjoying individual tastes from Guinness to microbrewed beer.
However, it does not rise only from beer. When it unites with beer culture of Germany which is looked at by October Fest, we can enjoy ourselves from the bottom of heart. The important thing is to drink the culture, not beer itself.

In the field of the food, some restaurants have their own farm like AP company, and their staff tell the on-site experience at the farm to their guests. Some restaurants invite their customers to the contract farm and harvest together. They try to make guests consume culture. In the field of drink we also wants to act like that.
