Brewers Association of Japan announces beer sales trends in October, 2012. Increase of 7.6% by the entire beer. 3.5% increase by bottle, 10.0% increase by cans, 7.3% increase by tap. People have gotten away from authentic beer because of their budget-mind. At bars & restaurants in Japan you can see the people who switched from beer to cheaper Whiskey Highball. However, in October, the flow might have changed. Tired of the Highball, I begin to wonder what they come back to beer?
